Girls of this Budgam village compelled to stay ILLITERATE for WATER!

The women folk have to tread miles to fetch water daily which has resulted in the low literacy rate among girls in Churpora village of this central Kashmir district. People of this village are compelled to drink contaminated water of nearby rivulets which has caused several ailments mostly to the women. Rafiqa Bano reports from Churpora Budgam.
